Our Policies

All Projector Lamps and television lamp sold at TV LAMP OUTLET come with a 3 month warranty from shipment date. Projector lamps may be returned for replacement within the warranty period. Refunds are only issued if the purchase was within 30 days of claim. In house service (DFW area only) and shipping charges are non-refundable. All lamps are guaranteed to arrive in working condition. If you receive a damaged or non-working bulb please contact us within 3 working days at tvlampoutlet@yahoo.com. Warranty does not cover improper installation including damages incurred while attempting installation. Warranty does not cover any installation or labor costs associated with the lamp.

If you believe that a lamp or bulb is defective you may contact us for return instructions. Please be sure to check your lamp timer and verify cover has been installed back onto the unit. If the lamp assembly or bare bulb is returned to TV LAMP OUTLET and tested to be found in good working condition then this lamp or bulb will be returned to customer with a $20.00 restocking fee.

Return made after 30 days can only be returned for excahnge.No refunds will be issued after 30 days

If you need to return a lamp/bulb that was incorrectly ordered or no longer needed you must contact us within 3 business days of receiving the lamp. This lamp must be returned in original packaging as it was received so that it is in resalable condition. If lamp is not in original packaging in resalable condition then a 10% restocking fee will be applied.

Returns Procedure and checklist :

1) Please contact us to obtain a Return Authorization (RNA #)

2) All returns must reference the RNA# on the shipping label

3) Return to: Tv Lamp Outlet 2627 S. Cooper St. Ste # B-17-18, Arlington, TX 76015.

4) Be sure to save tracking number when returning product to us.

Returns will be processed within 3 working days after receiving at Tv Lamp Outlet. Installation

IMPORIANT NOTE :

All our replacement lamps come with model and lamp specific instructions.

Please follow those instructions whenever possible.

 

1. Locate and remove the lamp access panel on the rear of the set. There is usually one screw holding it in place. Remove that screw and ease the panel off.

2. Unscrew the two brass screws on each end of the base. They won't come out completely as they're designed to stay on the lamp as it's removed.

3. Pull out the lamp. Don't touch anything other than the plastic or metal casing as it can be hot.

4. When removing the lamp and housing please note the position and alignment for when you install your new lamp noting in particular the connector plug at the top of the lamp

. 5. Carefully slide the new lamp and housing back in the same way the old one came out. That plug needs to connect with its mate, and the two tabs that the screws are on will meet flush with the ends of the rails. It can be tricky to get the new lamp back in. Do not use force to insert your new lamp and housing.

6. Once it's in, tighten the screws that should already be there attached to the lamp.

7. Put the cover back on the set and secure it with the screw. The television has a sensor and will not turn on if this panel is not in place. This is a safety feature as things get hot in there.

8. Power up the television and if all went well, your set should start up and look as it should when it was purchased new!
